  • History

A pleasant stay among history, art and culture

The Parioli district is bordered by the green idyll of the Villa Borghese to the south and Villa Glori and Villa Ada to the north.

The Parioli and Borghese area's rise to prominence began in the early 1600s when Cardinal Scipione Borghese, nephew of Pope Paul V and patron of Bernini, began turning this former vineyard into the most extensive gardens built in Rome since ancient times. In the 19th century the Borghese garden's austere formality was reworked into a landscaped English style.

The Villa Borghese gardens were bought by the commune of Rome and bequeathed to the public in 1903 for all to enjoy.

  • Location

A relaxing stay in the prestigious Parioli district, 2 blocks from Villa Borghese Park and a 5 minutes walk to the famous Via Veneto

Parioli is an elegant, secluded residential district of Rome, 6-minutes walking distance from the famous Via Veneto - popular for being the Fellini's La Dolce Vita catwalk - and less thank 15 minutes walking from Spanish Steps, reachable by an easy tapis-roulant system walkway from Porta Pinciana. It’s an area that’s home to some of the city’s finest restaurants and bars.

The pleasures of our Eternal city are close but this is an area favoured by the quiet connoisseurs – those who prefer to experience Rome on the sophisticated fringes, but easily connected to the ancient heart of the city by a few minutes walk.

The hustle and bustle of the city is easily reachable by foot, the Roman treasures, ancient monuments and fashionable shopping are all waiting to be explored.
